About

 About Me
I'm Shauna, and I love lunch.
My son doesn't always love lunch.
He's 3, and can be quite the picky eater as with many preschoolers and toddlers. I have combined my background in nutrition along with my creativity to come up with some great ideas and tips to get our little ones eating more nutritious delicious foods.
We pack healthy lunch boxes every day of the week. I test out my theories, recipes, and ideas and then relay them here on the blog as well as the website. Healthy eating is a passion for me, and it is my goal to help others realize the importance of raising healthy eaters.

Not only is the food we put into our bodies important, but so is the products we use to get that food there. We're living in a chemical world, and we must look out for one another. I am constantly researching companies and reviewing their products, as well as keeping up on the latest news so you don't have to!
I work from home which allows me to enjoy raising our son and taking care of our home at the same. Please feel free to email me with questions or comments.

About the blog
Lunch box diaries is a recent addition to my website LunchSaks.com. Both blog and website are meant to be used as all in one resources that offer families and individuals the tools to start eating healthier and packing nutritious lunches in a way that is safe for us and eco-friendly as well. Many people are unaware of the numerous chemicals put into products we use everyday that have been proven to cause adverse effects on our health. I am passionate about educating people about these harmful chemicals as well as helping people realize the importance of eating healthy. Lunch is often a rushed meal that not a lot of thought goes into.

In this day and age it's so easy to slip bags of unhealthy snacks and individual servings of processed foods into our lunch boxes. They're affordable, convenient, and taste great..So why not take advantage? That's the sort of thinking that the website and blog set out to debunk. The overall truth is, that an alarming amount of kids are overweight, our bodies are filled with unnatural chemicals, and so many of us have health problems. I strongly feel the need for everyone to get back to basics by eating nutritious whole foods and using products that are safe as well.

About Advertising and Reviews
• I have advertising space available on the website as well as here on the blog. If interested, feel free to email me. Several sizes of below the fold ads are available on the blog. The website has above and below the fold adspace on some pages. I reserve the right to pick and choose advertisers, and only wish to place ads from respectable, trustworthy companies that have SAFE products for my readers.

• I never accept payment for reviews, and only review products that I feel may be a good fit for the website or blog. You may email me with a product idea for a review, but that does not guarantee that I will review it. Reviewing takes a lot of time, I like to spend at least a month reviewing an individual product and testing it out in my kitchen or on my family. If I choose to review a product, there is always the possibility that the review may not be positive promotion for the product or company. I provide my readers with honest feedback and opinions, listing the pro's and con's of all products reviewed.
If interested, please email me for further information
